On Saturday, January 14, 2023 our LEOs spent some well-earned down time together at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.  The group had an awesome time touring Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech.”

Here is an overview taken from the Brooklyn Museum synopsis of the show. “Since the beginning of his career, the multidisciplinary work of late visionary artist and designer Virgil Abloh (Rockford, Illinois, 1980–2021, Chicago, Illinois) has reshaped how we understand the role of fashion, art, design, and music in contemporary culture. It spans two decades of his practice, including material from his fashion label Off-White; and items from Louis Vuitton, where he served as the first Black menswear artistic director.“ 

Immediately following the show, the group headed to Sweet Chicks in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY.  

On Saturday, July 23, 2022 some of our Omega LEOs attended the 7th Year Anniversary of the I Rise Conference, sponsored by Dr. Chloe Natcha International Ministries & ANS Association. We were also pleased to support Lion Monique Brizz-Walker, our LEO Co-Advisor, who received an award from Dr. Chloe, recognition from The NY State Assembly and New York City’s Public Advocate.

On Sunday, July 11, 2022 Our LEOs (Alpha & Omega) joined celebrated another year of service with
Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, Inc., IPDG Anthony Cochran, PDG Audrey P. Doorn and PDG Melissa Torres and PDG Ozzie Torres.
